WELCOME TO THE INTERFACE

Interface is a group inspired by classic dA RPs and species ARPGs, that seeks to build a friendly environment for players. With a mixture of classic gameplay elements, storyline events, and a seasonal artfight mechanic, we welcome players to engage in a way they feel comfortable. Whether it's playing the fishing sim for points, spamming art for xp, or just roleplaying casually, there are options for everybody.

Part sand-box set in a digital landscape, part story that guides the fate of the Interface, and the changes it undergoes as characters seek to unravel the mysteries that hold their world together.

What is the Interface? The Interface is the digital plane upon which the story takes place, within the greater System through which all the world's data can be accessed.

What is a virtual? Virtuals are digital beings that exist on the Interface, split into two subgroups; viruses and anti-viruses. They battle each other for control of the Interface, using weapons and coding to perform special skills. They access the code via their tethers, and are able to regenerate upon death thanks to their cores. Most characters featured will be a virtual.

What are the primary themes of the story? Intergenerational trauma, 'good' vs 'evil,' existentialism, artificial intelligence, self-actualization, and interdependence.

What is the focus of the group? Community, character design, character growth, storytelling, multiple engagement options, no activity requirements
